Returning from Rickmansworth Canal Festival

24th May 2022

Bringing Pickle's Folly back from Rickmansworth's canal festival, our volunteers ran into a little trouble at lock 75. CRT had been called out to an emergency and closed the lock to canal traffic. Our chair, who was on the boat, received notice from CRT, and the situation was confirmed when they arrived at the lock. A large amount of soil had been eroded around one of the ground paddles and is getting worse every time the lock is used. See this page for photos.
